I wish it didn't happen, but I'm glad I get to possibly help.
I've been through some stuff. Bob has been through worse. I have people that are good in my life. I know this isn't true for everyone.
For instance. We had some snow yesterday, right as I was leaving my internship. My tires had driven enough miles to wear the tread down to nothing. I had to go 15mph for 30 miles so I wouldn't crash.
So I made this post on Facebook:
Boy, Millie would LOVE tires!
Well, the comments lit up with jokes and suggestions on where to go to get new tires. I learned that my friend Stacie has a boyfriend who owns a tire company. So, of course, we wanted to go there.
It's never a good time for tires. Holiday time really sucks.
So we took our car to Norm's Tire Sales in Rosedale.
Here is the part that shows how good people are. When it came time to pay the bill, a generous ANONYMOUS person paid for HALF of our tires.
And someone else (I know who) threw in an oil change.
I'm here to say THANK YOU. I am so grateful for your help. I will pay this generosity forward when I can. It is unbelievable to me. I'm just so grateful.
I know how lucky I am. I learn that more and more each day.
So go to Norm's!! I can't guarentee that an anonymous person will pay half. But that is an honest, fair place to do business.
So this is just another example of how people are good. We are all good.
Peace and thanks.
